Related maps from Google maps place pages removed

Google maps was a function or a module on the pages of Google place removed. The remote function is the my maps module titled, "Related cards."

Brian from Google said in a thread of Google maps help, that this has been retired or removed. Here is his full statement:

You may have noticed, that the corresponding card module no longer place pages appears on Google. The team took a close look and measured, what types of information users found useful and relevant, and outlined ways to make the page for people looking for information about places more relevant.

The first step in this process focused himself on the removal of excess information that our research was specified often not useful. Weave discovered that, in many cases, the MyMaps were displayed, not especially relevant for the business, and that very few were always significant traffic through these links my cards. So the team retired the relatives decided maps module on this page.

This change has no effect on the ability to create your own maps with the my maps feature whatever you share and collaborate with friends or embed on a Web site. My maps is a very popular feature and we are working on new and better ways to more exposure to your my maps, making map Explorer and show creator of the perfect custom maps.
